RCA DVR-40 and iPhone app

Hi,

I have a DVR-40 that is running the 6.4 software. I have been trying to use the iPhone app that lets you schedule recordings( I guess you can do it on the Direct website also) and it won't work.

I get a message on the dvr that an internet request was received, but that the show does not exist in the guide and could not be scheduled. But when I look in the guide, the show is there.

Am I missing something???

Have you tried this on the DirecTV web site as well?

Just tried it didn't work from the website either :(.

one thing i did notice is that the website uses my access card id number while the iphone app uses the IRD Receiver ID

Oh and here is the message as I get it on the DVR:

" Your online request for "ch 19 on Tue at 10:00pm" has been received. However, this program COULD NOT be sheduled to record because it does NOT YET appear in you program guide."

But I checked and it is there.

Channel 19? Ah, this is a local. Can you schedule recordings for other locals? You may want to contact DirecTV for help with this.
