I first had an S2 when I started using TivoDesktop and when I added a TivoHD, I don't remember having to do anything special for TD to see it as well.

Now that I have added another TivoHD (3 total now), Tivo Desktop is not 'seeing' it.
Is there something manually I have to do to add the new Tivo to desktop 2.7 so that it will acknowledge the new Tivo?

it should all be automatic.
Has your new tivo connected to the system, downloaded the shows, updated, and rebooted yet? It might be waiting for a software update before it's visible...

How long have you had this new TiVo? It usually takes ~48 hours for a newly authorized TiVo to be authorized for transfers.

I activated it 5 days ago and had it running on the free trial before that.

I know transfers work. I transferred a program yesterday using the https method because TD is not seeing the new DVR.

Under the TiVo Server Properties, Security, are you allowing all DVRs on the network to see TiVo Desktop?

Under Tivo Server Properties, I have no "Security" tab, but I do have an "Access Control" tab, and the new Tivo is not even listed.
Also appears no way to manually add a unit.

Should I try an uninstall/reinstall of Tivo Desktop?

That's the tab I was thinking off (I replied from memory, I don't use TD much). If it's not appearing there it would say to me that it's not broadcasting itself for some reason.

Can your other TiVos see the new one? Or is it just TiVo Desktop?

All Tivos can see each other. It's just Desktop.

I'd reboot the new TiVo again just for grins, and install the latest version of Bonjour straight from Apple. Desktop 2.7 ships with 1.0.4 and Apple is up to 1.0.6, which has been reported to solve some problems like this. It also installs a Boujour brower plug-in for IE, which is nice to have for troubleshooting.

Did both and it worked!

Thanks for the tip.
