I have TIVO- V3, amd Sonic MyDVD, and get a message like "Incorrect Media", so not able to burn a saved TIVO program that I've moved to hard-drive via TIVO ToGo, version 2.5.1.
I've read on TIVO Community that some folks really do not like MyDVD. However, I've done it before, though it's been a couple years, or so.
Any suggestions, Help?

The overwhelming recommendation on this forum is going to be for VideoReDo. I have no experience with MyDVD.
Also, I presume when you mean "TiVo V3" you are speaking of one of the Series 3 models which can record in high definition. Are the files you are having issues with originally recorded in HD? If so that could be the reason for the error message (it's too big to fit). Video ReDo TV Suite will downrez an HD file so that it can be burned onto a standard DVD.

I too would recommend VideoRedo TVSuite (http://www.videoredo.com/en/ProductTVS.htm).
Download a copy and request an evaluation key to use the program for 30 (?) days without restrictions.
You can see some screenshots under the "Download Recordings" section in my signature.

I think the dvd video program in windows 7 does a lot better job then video redo does. If you have windows 7 try it out. You will still need vdeo redo to convert it to mpeg2 and take the ads out.
I just use wd tv now and dont make video dvds.

If it's anything like the the program included with Windows Vista Premium or Ultimate, I didn't particularly care for it.
