So What's Coming with Tivo?

I have been thinking of getting a new Tivo HD and have been looking at Amazon recently for their prices.

The price there has been sliding up recently and today it seems that


The lowest price has just risen from around $250 to $299
Amazon themselves no longer seems to stock it


Does this mean that supplies are low and something new is about to be introduced?

2) it shows up for $257.11 for me, in stock.

I just ordered one earlier today for $245.07 from amazon. But I see its now at $257.11 again.

Prices can jump $100 in a day. Amazon runs some kind of formula.

TiVo HD can be bought for $250 maybe $245 with a few days patience.
TiVo HD XL will get down to $500 regularly.

I bought my TiVo HD XL for $489 about 4 weeks ago.

Put your TiVo in your SHOPPING CART and watch the price a number of times per day. You will notice it bottoms out ABOUT the same prices and then SHOOTS up and slowly drops down again.

P.S. More than just Amazon sells TiVo's on Amazon. I had three choices. I chose Amazon because it was only a few bucks more and they are more reliable. I had three different TiVo HD XL's in my shopping cart all with different prices and vendors.
