So for some reason my channel line up was messed up from comcast, and we did a reset on the Series 3 XL Tivo box and up came an option for Cablecard AND ATT Uverse. Why am I seeing an option for Uverse if it isnt even compatible?
Please inform me. It seems strange to have the option to set it up, yet its not compatible
I have read other posts and it says its NOT compatible. I'm fine with that, but if its not, it shouldnt even be an option. Right?

It was that way in my area when Uverse first came in my area, I called TiVo and after a few weeks the option went away for my ZIP code anyways. I don't know how TiVo gets its information about what cable system are available in any area, it may be just an automatic thing that gives TiVo the information, that would mean TiVo would have to go in and remove any non compatible cable system ZIP code by ZIP code.

It is in error. What happens is Uverse is classified as cable, and they happen to sho up in the provider listings. TiVo catches that and flags them to not show up in the HD units.

Thanks for your answer.
I was just frustrated when I called tech support and they could only read me a script. They refered me to here. You have been helpful.
