I think there might be an IR code for that, but am not sure. Have you tried TiVo-TiVo? It is two button presses but gets you there pretty darn quick.

Yes. The Sony Series 1 Tivos had a "Now Playing" button that brought you dirctly there. Now, just hit the TiVo button twice.

I'll try that out. When I got my harmony 880 and after programming it if hit the stop button it would take me directly to now playing list. I messed around with the setting and had to clear and redo the TiVo and the remote. Now I can not get it to go to npl any more.
I thought maybe I accindently programed a different TiVo that had that freature.

There is a discrete code that takes you straight to the NPL, but I use a Pronto and I'm not sure how to get it into Harmony format. It's OBC code 70 (EFC code 166).

I think Logitech will add it to their database if you ask nicely.

Be sure to see the Using TiVo (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=7097286#post7097286) sticky in my signature. It tells you how to program Harmony and other remotes with the Now Playing function; it also has a link to order a TiVo remote with a button for the Now Playing list.

When you add TiVo as a device on your harmony there is already a "List" soft button that brings you right to the now-playing list. I use it all the time. I have it set as the top left soft button when I am using the "Watch TiVo" activity.

The DirecTiVo remotes also have the "List" button. (The remotes will work with any TiVo.)

Of course you could just hit the "TiVo" button twice.

That was the case with my original S3, but it's not there with my TiVo HD for some reason. Is there any way to "port" that discrete command from my H1 setup (for my S3) to my 550 setup (for my TiVoHD)?

I have the Harmony remote and I put in my Tivo HD as a device. "list" is one of the standard available commands that you can assign to a standard or additional button on the remote. Perhaps you should log into the remote website and check it out.

I was going to attach a pic of it... but I guess you can't add attachments here.

Meh....I just taught my 550 from my H1...very simple.

I use the standalone app....and it doesn't show "List" as a button option on my 550 setup...very strange, since the setup for my H1 does.

I have a Logitech Harmony remote. What are the best settings to use for a TivoHD?

In the Harmony software, select Devices -> Add Device -> PVR -> TiVo and enter TCD648250 as your model number.

Adjust the repeats and delays to make the remote more responsive with TiVo. To do that in the Harmony software, go to Devices -> TiVo -> Settings -> Adjust the delays. Set the power-on and interkey delay to 0. Next, go to Devices -> Tivo -> Troubleshoot -> Show me more problems -> PVR doesn't receive every command correctly -> The device responds too much to some commands. Set the repeat to 1. The Harmony remote will never be as responsive as the original TiVo remote, but with these settings, you can get it pretty close.

Functions available on a Harmony remote with the TCD648250 device name include:

LIST = takes you directly to recorded list, bypassing the TiVo menu
STOP = stops playback and takes you back to the program in info screen
POWERTOGGLE = standby, primary use is to immediately re-enable Kidzone and/or parental controls
ADVANCE = performs -->| button on TiVo remote (i.e. 30 sec skip)
SLOWFORWARD = performs slo motion function on TiVo remote

Under Activities -> Watch TiVo -> Customize Buttons, I suggest assigning the "List" function to the menu button and the placing the "Menu" function on a LCD button named "TiVo Menu."

Since the channel +/- buttons also serve the page +/- function on TiVo, you may want to stick the thumbs +/- functions on the Harmony's /\ and \/ buttons. Harmony remotes do not have a button for slow motion (SlowForward); you can assign that to the stop button or place it on the LCD.

Click for larger.

You may also wish to create sequences (http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm314/ilovehdtv/Other/Harmony/harmony75_sequences.png) (macros) for the To Do List and Pause-Clear. That way, you can place the To Do List to the LCD, and automatically clear the progress bar on pause.

If you use Kidzone and/or parental controls, you may wish to assign the standby function (PowerToggle) to a button on the LCD, to immediately re-enable the that functionality for your child after you finish watching your own programs.

I used the series 2 TiVo. I have a list and enter in the lcd section now.
