buy tivo to work with sling

Hi everyone.... My question is:
I have a sling box in miami (usa), but I work in chile (south america) so far no problems works fine on my computer....
But now I want to record some shows in a Tivo...
Sling and Tivo works fine ???
Which Tivo do I have to buy... there´s some diference???
Can I Change chanels of sling from my Tivo ???

some help will be very apreciated...

Yes, a Slingbox works fine with Tivo. I use the original classic Slingbox to control a Tivo Series 2. As far as which Tivo, a lot depends on what your signal source is. The Series 3 models do not work with satellite, but work fine with cable (cable cards needed) and/or over the air (antenna). Series 3 record HD quality.

The Series 2 dual tuner will work with a set top box, cable or satellite, but does not work with OTA.

I suggest you look at the available Tivo models, and see which best meets your needs. Any questions, ask.

my signal source comes from the slingbox (who gets the tv cable signal form internet in miami) and I recieve that signal in other slingbox in my office in chile south america.

I undertand that tivo gets the tv guide from internet... so...I.m in other country, chile, south america... mi ip its diferent that the one in miami....

?¿ Tivo works in my country?

Tivo does not work in Chile. If you setup a Tivo in Miami, with a subscription and either a phone or network connection; you can watch, program and control it from Chile.
