View Full Version : Tivo failure on Houston Comcast

For those who may not have yet noticed, Tivo pushed down a channel lineup update to Houston Comcast customers. Unfortunately, the channels they pushed down don't match up with the comcast channels that are currently present (Most obviously, 311 (CBS) didn't change to 611 and 312 (NBC) didn't change to 612). I have verified this on the Comcast cable box sitting next to my TIVO HD and the channels on the Comcast box show no change in lineup. I've been on the phone with TIVO support for 50 minutes now and they say it'll be 7-10 days. I've talked them into a discount, but until they get it fixed my service is effectively down.

If you live in Houston, check your channel lineups! If your tivo hasn't recieved the channel lineup, unplug it from the network for the next week or so so it doesn't get messed up by the Tivo folks' lapse in quality control.
