Well there's no point in watching THIS anymore. The episode was about Ogopogo in Kelowna, Canada. According to Monster Quest this is a lake demon that has been terrorizing the residents of the area for centuries!
We used to go to Lake Okanagan every summer when I was a kid. And now my mom, sis and nephew live there. Terrorized? Um, the locals pretty much find it an amusing myth and it hasn't hurt the city's reputation as a summer tourist area loaded with boating, fishing and swimming.
I know they have to pump up the drama for the show but, sheesh! This was way over the top.
