Hey guys, I did a quick search for this problem but didn't find anything similar. I've had this unit for about four years now and never had an issue but the last couple of months whenever I access the guide, punch in a number, or scroll the channels, I get a double entry most of the time (hit 5 and get two fives, one page down gets two pages down, etc.). The remote is a Harmony H688 with fresh batteries, however, the same problem happens when using the original peanut TiVo remote. I've rebooted the DVR and that doesn't help. Even tried a new Harmony 880 but still the same thing. Any ideas?

Sounds like IR interference from another source, a hidden remote under a cushion, check the room.

Where is the TV located?
Is it someplace where it is cold?
Low temperatures can cause remote buttons to stick, resulting in multiple entries.

Yes it would, the command can get stick in a feedback loop created by the IR stream being constantly sent.
