View Full Version : Has DVR Scheduler changed for the HR10-250?

So I've been using the DVR Scheduler for months now with no problems. When I try and record a show from my cell phone it now gives me this message:

"your request to record that channel could not be completed because it is not part of your subscription package. please visit directv.com for more information."

Anybody know what gives?

Also, I'm not using the iphone app if that matters. I have a Palm Centro. And I went to the website and found on one page that the HR10-250 is supported and on another it does not mention it as being supported (but does not deny it either).

Which channel? I've had no problems with the service and recording to my HR10.

Have you tried the scheduler on the website using a PC?

Do you subscribe to that channel?

Website scheduling works fine, just not from my phone. I've tried several different local channels both off-air and through the satellite locals and none of them work from my phone when before they did.

BUT, as i was writing this i thought i'd sign in and try recording a satellite channel (espn in this instance) and it works! Looks like it's just the locals that do not work in any way shape or form.

Any thoughts before i contact directv? If any of you would be kind enough to try what i did with locals and satellite channels and report back i would appreciate it!

I don't believe off-air channels have ever worked or even shown up in the online guide at Directv.com. It's possible if you were trying to record locals that you were attempting to record the MPEG4 HD channels, which the HR10-250 does not receive.

thanks for the reply whitepelican:) i have been able to record off air locals using the 'manual record' option from my cell phone up until now. if you 'search' for a show then it only pulls up the satellite locals and that worked before also. now neither of them work! confusing to say the least. i might just have to email customer service and see what they say i guess.
