Does 810H Work With TiVo Desktop 2.7?

I have been attempting to set this up but can't get my computer and the 810 to communicate. When I open the Desktop, all I see is a blank screen where my TiVo programs should be. I attempted opening up all of the ports suggested on the TiVo website, and even crashed my router trying to add a MAC address. Am I wasting my time in trying to get this to work, or am I missing something? I am running Windows XP with a DLink 655 Extreme N Router and a DLink G520 card, and am using TiVo Basic.

It will work with any Tivo (S2 or S3)and a paid subscription. However, Tivo Basic is not a paid subscription.

Got it! Thanks - too bad their lifetime subscriptions are so expensive...
