erasing part of program

I recorded a film to the hard drive. the actual film is 1 hour 55 min. Because tivo stated early and ended late it recorded 2 hours and 15 min. now is there a way to erase everything except the film before I transfer it to a dvd thx for your help.

Not directly from the TiVo. Only thing I could suggest is using a dvd recorder or vcr to record the portion you want to keep. If you use the TiVo desktop on your computer and transfer the file I'm not sure if you can use the Roxio or something to edit it that way, might be possible, not sure but not directly from the TiVo.
