Hey all!
Time to clear out some space in my closet, so I'm ebaying my two HR10-250s. For anyone who's shipped one (or received one in the mail), is the original box sturdy enough to ship in, or should it be doubleboxed?
The HR10s I have actually have two different boxes - the first design (which was primarily white) and the latter one (which was darker, with a black background). The first design feels too flimsy to ship in, so I'm thinking I'll have to doublebox that one, but the latter one seems okay...
Any insight welcome!

When I got mine new, they were double-boxed.

The original box is definitely sturdy enough if you have the styrofoam inserts. However, I always double-box Tivos or other electronics to reduce the possibility of damage during shipping.

Hello. My HR10 just died and I am considering buying a new one until DTV launches the next Tivo based DVR. Can I buy one of yours?

Hey bheath, the one currently up on ebay is item number 250403328783.
The auctions is ending in a couple of hours. If you're interested in the other one (which is upgraded to 640 gigs), send me a pm.

:D That one is easier to understand. It comes with the HDMI cable. Those are $99 all by themselves at Best Buy! :D
Mine is going! I was only keeping it because I thought was worthless and I have content on it to watch. The content ain't worth that much to me.
