Can't Use Pause, Rewind, etc. w/VOD

I've downloaded several episodes of Weeds on my DirecTV HD DVR. For some reason, whenever I use pause, rewind, etc. the picture freezes (sound continues most of the time).

Is this some kind of DRM that DirecTV/Showtime is using?

Anyone else have this issue?

No, it has nothing to do with Digital Rights Management. Most likely just a bug. Try resetting your DVR to see if that helps (red button behind front panel access card door).

When I had the three month freebie of Showtime I also saw this problem with Showtime VOD. It may be a Showtime thing.
