"My mail's been piling up and I keep forgetting to buy toilet paper."
"Did you speak to him?"
"Yes"
"Did you pretend to be be?"
"Yes"
"Did you do an impression of me?"
"Of course"
"Was it British?"
"It was."

Christ there were so many good lines. I just remembered another one I had to pause.
"I'm Lizing!"

At the end when she says "He's going to Jack" does that imply that Lizzing was named after her and not a combination of Lizz and Wizz?
edit: correction, I meant laughing and wiz...not lizz and wizz

The whole muppet vision reminded me of Angel.

(...) does that imply that Lizzing was named after her and not a combination of Lizz and Wizz?"Liz" is a combination of "laugh" and "wiz"...

Great episode. I loved Kenneth's Muppet vision (and Liz walking down the hall flailing her arms like a Muppet) and Jack's money vision (with Kenneth's $7 tie). But it didn't really make sense that Tracy sees everyone else as versions of himself. The other things are rooted in the characters' personalities, Kenneth is childish and Jack is all about money. But Tracy seeing everyone else as Tracy is just bizarre.

"Why didn't you warn me? I was concentrating on his mouth!"
That was when I had to pause because I couldn't breathe from laughing so much.

I misread that, I thought it was a $7 Kenneth.

Yeah, as I was typing that, I realized that might be the case.

Maybe he was just valuing Kenneth at $7. That would be even funnier.

I'm not usually so quick to pick up on such things, especially since it was delivered so quickly, but I took the term "Jack" as a combination of his name "Jack" and the word "Yack"; which would simply come out as "Jack".
It's too bad if that wasn't the intention, because I chuckled about it for the next 20 minutes.

LOL! I thought of that too!
LOVED this episode!!! :)
"Liz" is a combination of "laugh" and "wiz"...
That's what I meant, laugh and wiz...I took that as something Liz Lemon does a lot, so her friends coined the phrase "lizzing" and her way of dealing with that is by telling other people that it is a combination of laughing and wizzing? I do like what HelloNewman says about Jack and yack though.

Hell, I liked beeper king's way to get coffee. Basement of a k-mart, ask a guy for a key, then get some coffee.

But it didn't really make sense that Tracy sees everyone else as versions of himself. The other things are rooted in the characters' personalities, Kenneth is childish and Jack is all about money. But Tracy seeing everyone else as Tracy is just bizarre.Tracy is extremely self-centered. Everything is about him and he only cares about himself. Perhaps seeing everyone else as versions of himself is the only way he can relate to them at all.

This episode had me lizzing so hard. :D
Now I not only have "blerg" (which is a wonderful curse word to use around children), but I can also add "liz" and "jack" to my vocabulary. Thanks, 30 Rock!
I love any episode with the beeper king. That guy is comedy gold.
ETA: And that commercial for the "urban single hotline" was too funny for words. I love seeing any glimpse of Liz from the past. 1-800-OKFACE (or whatever the number was).

I LOL'ed when Judah Friedlander said, "That's not even enough numbers!" because so often they show those fake numbers and we are all thinking it; leave it to 30 Rock to say it!:up:
"Liz only got the job because their first choice got deported!" :p
