Woohoo! Parker and Stone get around to skewering the economic situation.
Gives them a great chance to have Cartman go off on his own regular target ;)

I don't know if it will stand the test of time, but for now, this episode was awesome. I did expect more from Cartman, but still 'Jew cave' was pretty damn funny.

The chicken scene....
I haven't seen anything that funny in a LONG time (from anywhere).
Never did I think South Park would bring the 'Paradox of Thrift' into an episode. Awesome.
Anyone know why the South Park news commentary is now Channel 9 instead of 4?

That was pretty good. Like the Last Supper scene. Kyle as the messiah is good stuff.
Didn't go down exactly as I expected, though. When Randy told people to drink margaritas, I thought he was going to make a fortune off of that and rebuild the economy around it.
Still, I liked where they took the Margarita thing. Made a lot of sense.

I just watched this the other day. They've done another marvelous episode.
It amazes me that they can be so "dirty" sometimes, and also have such hilarious/insightful episodes other times.
(If it's risque and _funny_, that's not dirty.. it's only dirty when they're crude and it's not funny... Yes obviously I'm being subjective in this. For example, "Coupling" is one of the most [verbally] risque shows I've ever seen, but is hilarious. Some of the South Park episodes are just gross.. But then they pull an episode like this out.. wow.)
I had originally thought the Margaritaville machine _itself_ was going to be exactly what they were referring to when they said near the beginning something like "buying stuff they don't need".. and while it was, it also wasn't, because it was just the McGuffin for the overall plot. I know that doesn't really make sense.. but basically, I thought the very existence of such a stupid machine was going to be the core of the plot, and not just what they used to explain the mortgage/AIG/credit default swaps mess.

(Ok, I know I'm resurrecting a long dead thread to simply make a comment about an ep aired long ago... so sue me, I own a Tivo. ;))
“Excuse me, we need to borrow your squirrels.”
“Did somebody say catch a jew?”
The party at Whistlin’ Willy’s
Cartman’s reaction.
“Go ahead, Kyle.”
"He's paying for everyone's debts...."
WTF?
Best Ep Ever!
:D
Did anyone notice the hd feed was uncensored?
