Adam... wow... a few of us (including me) here called it, I think he is going really far.

Lil had IMHO the worst performance of her previous ones tonight but even her worse is far better then what seems to be a lot of people's best. She will be safe, but she seems to be losing her edge, especially with Adam now coming up.

Danny was ok, not horrible and not great, but of course no worries there.

Kris and his guitar as a security blanket. He seems to use it on songs that don't need it and ditch on songs that he could showcase it. Odd I thought.

Adam was by far and away the winner tonight. It wasn't even close and it was to see that he got a standing ovation from the guy who wrote the song. I think that Allison had the 2nd best performance of the night.

I don't know how Lil managed to screw up Motown week but she sure did. It's a good thing that there were several people much, much worse than her.

Danny sucked and Simon called him on it. I can't believe where DialIdol has him this week (or Lil for that matter). I think a lot of people are voting on previous performances.

Megan left a steaming, stinking pile on the stage. Ouch. Hopefully VoteForTheWorst will save her for another week.

Tonight, definitely. Elvis with a bunch of make-up, that is. As much as I want to hate him, he was really good tonight.

Scott sucked as usual, at least the judges didn't gush over him this time. I thought Lil was great, don't know why all the criticism. As for Megan, the Vote For The Worst people better be out in force tonight, because I can't imagine anyone legitimately voting for her.

I dont think Scott sucked. While he may not be outwardly appealing with his charisma (or lack of), I think he conveys a lot of feeling in his singing.

But I dont see him in the end.

Adam - this was the only performance I did not like.

Danny - liked it. Was a fun performance.

Allison did really well. I didnt like her before but did tonight.

Megan - does she sing or just talk her words? Why don't they talk about how she holds herself? It's so awkward and uncomfortable.

Allison great mature performance...she's the closest thing to Clarkson since Clarkson in Idol.

Anoop could have tied for second best performance by using the stage more, like coming up to hold Kara's hand with a seductive song like that.

Worst disappointment - Tied Megan and Lil Rounds. Megan can't choose a song to save her life and Lil should have done some Brenda Holloway.

Megan will go home cause her performance wasn't even worth a karaoke bar.. too bad I was such a fan in Audition and Hollywood weeks.

Scott I think is overall the best musician of the group. I also think he does connect most with all the songs he performs. Will he win? No, but I think he has a crapload of talent and again is the best musician.

I thought Allison was good, but I thought the reaction by the judges was a bit much.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Michael going home tomorrow either (though I did say I think it is Megan). Michael is likeable so people will vote for him because of that. Megan is VFTW candidate so people will vote for her on that, but I don't think she has a strong fanbase (same with Alexis, no strong fan base and we saw what happened with her). Scott has his pathos angle going and I think it can float him a few weeks, if he has an amazing blowout performance by then (possible) then he will last even longer (same with Michael I think).

With all that said above I think Michael's nice guy/genuine/hard working roughnecker fans will garner him him more votes then the Megan Joy VFTW/she is cute to look at fans will.

Tonight he was the best by a mile. However...I could tell he was acting. I don't believe he really felt the song. If he wants to win, he's going to have to find a way to connect with the song he sings.

The whole night was kind of meh for me, but I read spoilers before I watched it, so maybe that affected my perception. Won't do that again.

Had they used the save last week on Alexis, there is no doubt in my mind that both Megan and Michael would be gone tonight. As it is, whichever of them does NOT get eliminated can thank the other for their suckage because both of them deserve to be gone based on tonight.

While I admit that there's just something I like about Megan on stage, quirks and all, I just could not bring myself to vote for her this week. I threw my votes to Allison, though I think Adam did a complete 180 for me this week. I don't anticipate he'll keep it up and am thinking this week may have been his "abomination" week and next week he'll be back to BBOS status for me.

Scott or Kris should round out the bottom three, but right now it's definitely a race between Megan and Michael for who goes home. I was thinking as Megan was singing, "Wow - we'll hear this song again tomorrow night". Then Michael sang and I thought, "Well, we've got a competition here". Ugh, painful.

I'm not a Motown fan at all, but there were a few performances that were OK. I hated to admit to myself, though, that Adam did the best job tonight.

Just a couple of performance thoughts.

Okay Adam had his moment. This performance was BRILLIANT. I didn't realize he had that kind of control with his voice and that's saying A LOT considering his crazy range. He really is in his own league in this thing. It's almost a waste of time finishing the show. Just hand him the title now. He's won this sucker. And was it just me or did he look like a cross between Boy George and Bobby Darin? HD does nothing for him. (is it wrong that I chucked at him saying "take a good look at my face" when nobody really should be doing that?)

Yeah I'm all about Noop-Dawg this year. Didn't see that sneaking up on me! He had a few spots that weren't perfect but oh wow, there were parts of that song that literally gave me goosebumps. Simon said he looked like he was half asleep. I disagree. I thought it looked like he was really into the song. It was very heartfelt feeling, as if he were really singing it to a particular person. Loved it.

Allison, WOW! Easy to see why she got the pimp spot tonight. HOLY COW this girl can sing. I think she's lying about her age. Someone check her birth certificate!! That was amazing. I LOVED David Hernandez on this song but she blew him away. Fantastic way to come back from the bottom 3 last week! (400 years Kara? Really? Are you drinking from Paula's cup tonight??)

I would by traditional Israeli music like the 'Shir LaShalom' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-tXCr91xnU&feature=related) piece.
I would buy a RoF-ish Cirque type album by him.
I would buy rock, and I would buy the techno/dance he professes to want to do.
I would buy a Christmas album by him.

I love what he does.
I do think AI is hedging their bets a bit with Kris, Allison, and maybe Danny just in case Adam totally alienates the viewers by too much glam/gay/weirdo stuff. But they're having Lady GaGa on next week and he would make a great male type version of that, as well as recording more traditional stuff. He slips in and out of so many genres so easily that I really think there is something for everyone.

And middle America can think what they want but there isn't a more respectful, well mannered person up there. He never talks back, never puts on a bitch face even when called horrendous, and always thanks his accompanying musicians and is gratious and humble aside from the performance itself. He was raised really well.
