Why? No different then offering Netflix. Besides, neither feature has to be in the new DirecTV model if DirecTV doesn't want them there.

Besides, you can already stream Netflix and Amazon VOD to DirecTV DVRs using PlayOn, Blockbuster may not be far behind.
