Life "3 Women" 3/18/09

I usually watch "Life" a few weeks after it airs or when I run out of other shows to watch.

I have to say that I'm really enthused about the change in partners for Crews! (Temporary or permanent) I'm not a huge Gabrielle Union fan but her character really infused some "Life" :p into the show IMO!

Sarah Shahi's Reese is okay, but I've always felt she was kind of boring as a character.

It will be interesting to see how this change plays out! I'm rooting for the change to become permanent. :)

-1. While I don't have a problem with his temporary partner Seever (G Union), I think Reese is an interesting character (and smoking hot doesn't hurt).

Ratings junkies seem to think this show is running on fumes and stands -zero- chance of being renewed, so it may not matter.

This show is very near the top of our TiVo's Priority List. We will surely miss it if it's cancelled, but I've never heard anyone talk about it except for people who I've recommended it to. I'm pretty sure I don't have enough friends to keep a major network TV show alive.

I couldn't disagree more with the OP as far as the new partner goes. I think she's a very poor actress, and contrasted with Damian Lewis and Donal Logue it's made even more obvious. We definitely need Reese back, ASAP.

A quick search tells me she is prolly due in early summer. Since the show will probably be finished filming for the year (and forever? :mad:) in the next few weeks, we probably won't ever have "Dani Reese" back. Just the top shots they've been giving us...

Yeah, I'd say it's pretty clear she won't be back if they don't get picked up for another season.

I don't pay much attention to ratings, except insofar as they are discussed here on these boards. As I said, I never hear anyone mention this show, but I didn't have any solid idea of whether it was popular or not until I read this thread. Although I do sort of generally assume that any show I like this much is doomed to cancellation.

It will be a shame if it's canceled without Charlie getting any resolution about who framed him.

I would at least keep it as a show to air against idol. If the ratings are bad I'd guess it's because it's going against Criminal Minds/Wednesday programming.

Well if Reese dosen't return I don't care what they do with the show. G. Union sucks in my opinion. And they made it look as Reese was heading for a final ride at the end of the last episode.

They're obviously not planning on getting rid of her. They wouldn't go through all this trouble to keep her on the show during her pregnancy otherwise.

The only question is whether there will be a show for her to return to full-time.

interesting to see 'mrs shane' in something again. She fitted the role very well and also looked much better than in the shield.

it kinda bugs me why each partner knows each saw the guy on that boat yet we are led to believe it's something sinister and they dont even ask each other. I guess it's ' in the script'

I'm behind an episode, but I'm guessing all of this takes place in that one? I don't recall seeing anything about Reese taking a ride in the one with 3 women.

With Leno moving to 10 o'clock, I just don't see how this show will survive NBC cuts. They ruined the show with the second season and I doubt this show will ever have a fitting end this season.

When did this all happen? Did it run late and I missed the ending? Is it worth finding a torrent?
