Bitty Schram, who left "Monk" five years ago amid a contract dispute, has agreed to return for the show's final season.

Sharona is going to be in only one episode.

I wasn't happy when she left, but now I really don't enjoy watching her in the earlier roles.

Glad to see her back. Thought she was great during the first two seasons.

I agree with this. I remember when she left and it seemed like the show was losing a big asset, but I can't stand watching the episodes she was in now.

I was not at all happy at the time, but the show's moved on beyond her character. I hope it's not an uncomfortable return.

It's Monk (the character, not the show). Of course it's going to be uncomfortable.

I hope she hasn't packed on the pounds since she's been gone. It always looked liked she was teetering on the brink.

Oh, of course. I meant "uncomfortable" as in "for the show"...

For example, the "Panic Room" episode, Monk taking the test to get back on the force and the pencil problem, etc...there's a line there, and I hope the Sharona return isn't too much on the other side of it. :D
