Please don't highlight if you don't want to know anything (which isn't much, I'll admit)...
The show is suspected to be:House
What's known...
1. It's not the most likely candidate--not by a longshot.
2. It's not someone who has been rumored to be leaving.
3. It is someone who will shock you.
4. How it happens will take you completely by surprise.
5. There is no lead up to this death, it just...happens.
And it's been identified as a main character
My guess ... and this would definitely change the dynamic of the show:
Cuddy. But that may be too much... It's probably someone like Kutner.
And I thought that an actor/actress had died in real life before they filmed the rest of the season. Doh!

After thinking this for a moment, I guess that Chase & Cameron could be considered main characters since they are still listed in the main title credits.

It pains me to type it, but I say
Wilson. The man is troubled, though he hides it pretty well most of the time. And it would have the most impact on House; yet at the same time, he's the least necessary major character, only occasionally involved in cases.
I don't see Cuddy or Kutner ever doing that. Second choice would be 13 (already under a death sentence, might want to avoid suffering) or Taub (seems increasingly unhappy, could be humiliated by the events of the last episode).

Wilson better not be leaving the show.
He/She's the only normal person on the show. By normal, I mean he/she behaves in a believable way when certain events of the past have transpired.

I'm a sucker for spoilers, but now that I've read this, I really wish I hadn't. This is the type of thing that seems like they don't want anyone to see it coming, and I wish now that I could watch it that way without wondering when it's coming or who it's going to be.

I don't think it will be Cuddy. She has that baby to take care of and love.
Number 13 is to obvious.
The only one that would totally blow my mind would be Cameron. Cameron's death would affect House and Chase deeply. They can get a lot of story lines out that.
But I think it will be Wilson. This wouldn't surprise me though. He took Amber's death hard. He's still living in Amber's apartment. Just recently washed Amber's coffee cup that had been sitting on the kitchen counter for months.

I did debate posting it... but figured that with all of the spoilers, it would be ok. After all, once you saw what the show was, you could of backed out at that point (even with the thread title).

Oh, I'm not faulting you for posting it. You did it exactly as you should have. I'm just saying that I wish I didn't know this, which is the exact reason we take the spoiler precautions that we do in this forum. I simply chose to look at the spoiler and now I wish I wouldn't have made that choice.
If it were Wilson, then it'd be the second time he committed suicide.

has been on the show since day one, as I recall.
I don't think...
...that it will be Cuddy on House, as I think are a significant number of viewers who watch mainly to see if "Huddy" will become a reality.

has been on the show since day one, as I recall.
Although it's the second character she's played, and I think there's at least one more sister, so don't count that actress out of the show just yet.
Anyway, yeah, technically I guess that was suicide, but I saw it more as "going out fighting".

Then on top of that everything you are talking about isn't confirmed and you labeled the thread as a spoiler thread. I think we've gone a little overboard with the spoiler police here now.

Sorry DTF - Guess I was a bit over-protective. I figured that if I had put the show title either in the thread name or didn't spoilerize it... it would of pissed people off. At the same time, if you highlight the show name... and don't care about the show (or didn't want to read further), then it would easier to do it this way.
We're still cool... right? :)
Wouldworker - The first link that I saw this didn't give the show title... then I read another link that had the same/similar info, but also gave the show name. For all that I know, this is 100% BS or maybe a "dream sequence".

Battlestar Galactica and the character is Cavill.
If so, it's pretty ho-hum.

Isn't confirmed is putting it mildly, they're just guessing. It's like if I said, I think the world is going to end in two years and spoiled it. When did people star spoiling mere guesses? Crazy!!

What an odd thread, from the title it really makes you want to look even though you hope it isn't something you wanted to avoid. Luckily I don't watch this show but the title itself would have bugged the heck out of me for all the shows I do watch.

Well, since it does say "Spoiler" in the thread title, I don't see much harm in making this "public"...
Tracy Strauss (aka "Not Niki" and "Ms. Freeze") was released from the "hot room" she was in in an attempt to follow her to "Rebel", who, as pretty much everyone in the planet predicted, turned out to be Micah - and rather than let him be captured, she had him set off fire sprinklers, told him to escape, and when the "troops" arrived, she froze the water in the air, freezing everything around her, including herself. (Somebody shot her, but all that did was to cause her already-frozen body to break apart.)
