Cool that it took a while for Castle and Beckett to uncover everything this time, and really cool that there were lots of twists and turns to unravel.
I do have to say though: .28
WTF? Even if you were trying to get really, really, filthy, stinkin' drunk that wouldn't be easy and I expect you'd have passed out long before you got near that level (at least in most cases...) I'm sure they picked that number to impress and it does, but in a way that they probably shouldn't have let happen... Maybe stop at .18 (which would have been pretty darned impressive too...)

For some people, a 0.28 is just a good buzz.

Oh, and I like the first interrogation. One of the writers saw the following videos.

Don't talk to the Police Part 2 (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6014022229458915912&q=&hl=en)

This show is quickly becoming one of my fav's. I know it can be cornny sometimes but it is enjoyable. And beckett is very easy on the eyes.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the murder mystery, but I liked Castle's interaction with his daughter at home.
But I did enjoy the writing.

Castle's daughter is just a wee bit too perfect. Seriously -- grounding herself for a week for jumping the turnstiles out of sheer desperation?
She ought to get together with Julie Stark, another near-perfect daughter (in the recently defunct "Shark" series with James Wood), and compare notes. :D

The interaction of daughter and father is nice. I still dont know if I like the mother. If she wasnt on the show I wouldnt miss her.

I'm hoping it will turn out she was playing Castle.
Because if she wasn't, that scene was almost inhuman behavior. It was the one truly false note this show has struck so far.

I got distracted twice by actors in this show. I couldn't figure out who the Asian woman (Jamie Chung) was until I looked her up - she was on Real World: San Diego. (and has been in a few other things, I don't think any of which I've seen.)
Then the lawyer for the drug dealer (IIRC) seemed (1) way too young, and (2) way too familiar... It was Charlie Finn, who I realized was in two sitcoms I liked (not loved, liked).. "Help Me Help You", and "Life on a Stick".. and was on 3 episodes of Andy Richter Controls the Universe).
I hate the "who is that guy???" syndrome..

I got the feeling she was grounding herself for lying to her father, especially after he'd asked her if she was hiding anything, and not so much for jumping turnstiles.
I enjoy the back-and-forth between Castle and his mother, but I don't think I'd miss her if she was gone.
This week's mystery was just kind of "meh." It was nice to see Castle kind of biting his tongue and keeping quiet instead of antagonizing the kid, even though he didn't like him. And then playing him rather nicely at the end. I have to admit I was rather surprised Beckett never "accidentally" hit the obnoxious little brat.
