I really wish they'd stop going to India. Aside from the near-simultaneous camel kick/Tammy fall (which I rewound a bunch :D ), this was another in a series of very blah episodes.

Thank God for Tivo. Damn basketball pushed everything back by 52 minutes on the East Coast. I may have to increase my pad from 1 hour to 90 minutes.

the camel kick was comedy gold. Hope the guy didn't get seriousy hurt. Camels are seens as slow docile creatures but are actually ill mannered most of the time and quick when they want to be.

Did the stuntguy's barrel task actually ask both of them to take a full complement of barrels, cause I thought it only required 9 barrels to be taken on the task.

Well BB should be over very soon....can't stand the sport. Gimme hockey any day of the week.

On subject...the camel kick was hilarious (hoping the dude didn't get hurt). Someone needs to put Victor out of his misery. I can't remember a TAR where I disliked so many of the teams.

Was that the same camel that they showed the dude smacking on the rear to get him to stand up? I'm guessing that's how it's done, but it was funny to see that followed up with the camel totally smacking that dude down! :)

The detour did require both team members to do the barrel bikes. The description of the task just noted that each would have 9 barrels.

I can understand the devastating effect that seeing the conditions in poorer India can have on someone (as we seem to be shown almost every season now!), but they showed too much of Luke's reaction (though it may just me being annoyed that Luke gets so much screen time - we get it, he's deaf!). But did anybody find it a little ridiculous that they showed Cara (or was it Jamie) then saying almost the exact same thing about the animals?!?!? Didn't she even see any of the people/kids in the same situation?

I had the exact same thought when I watched. WTF, there are poor wretched children everywhere and you care about the animals? Feral animals have survived for millennia, children not so much.

I've been to India and some parts are quite a culture shock for westerners. they really didn't show the bad stuff. I understand the reaction so I give them a pass.

I was actually starting to like the FAs, they kind of grew on me. Sorry to see them go, they nearly made it. I knew that this was one case where the determinant task ( take barrels and find elephant ) would be harder than the other one. The stuntguys nearly screwed themselves.

What does he do for a living anyway?

Actually, I have a bit of a different point of view on that. Before my wife and I had our daughter, we were very big on animal rights, and taking care of animals. We did charity work for animals, because we felt that a lot of people focused on people, but not as many on animals. So, maybe animals have a special meaning for them?

Of course, we don't know everything she said - they only showed us what they wanted to after the edits. But, perhaps they were the only ones to mention animals?

I would certainly expect that ALL teams had some comments about the children, but they didn't show it to us. It doesn't make sense to me to come down on these two for saying something about the animals, when we didn't hear anything about children from anyone else.

They really need to quit focusing so much on Luke. It's not PC to say it, but his attempts at speech are getting on my nerves.

I can't believe old gay dad did so well at the roadblock. I thought sure he was going to drop dead of a heart attack at any moment.

I volunteer to help Cara get the hay out of her boobies. :p

That's exactly how I took it....there were likely other comments they made about the children, too, but in post-production they decided to include some comments about animals, and that's what we got from them (as well as comments about the children from other teams).

Sports on Sundays on CBS suck. I knew about padding for football...but not basketball. Ugh. At least I could watch online.

Agree about the edits. You can't rip on a team for what they say/don't say when 48 hours gets edited down to about 48 minutes.

I just automatically add 30 minutes padding to TAR. CBS always has something to screw it up (and yesterday I had to go and up it 1 hr.)

Yeah, I leave my football padding in place year round. I record TAR and Cold Case (including repeats) properly, and then pad The Unit by 1 hour. This is because I watch TAR and The Unit but only watch Cold Case in the summer when nothing else is on. :)

This is a pretty tame trip to India so far by TAR standards. What we need is to hear Phil say, "travel by train to..."

I can't remember a TAR where I disliked so many of the teams.Victor/Tammy are actually my favorite team. Yes, he's a bit of an ass, but Tammy makes up for it.

...and none of the other teams appeal to me...I guess I don't mind the stuntmen, but they don't seem very engaging...

Yeah, it's not a real Indian leg until there's a stinky train ride!

I don't think "stinky" is the main problem with the Indian train rides.

Whenever they take a train ride in India, the complaints are always the terrible BO smell and the groping. :)

Sign up for CBS Eye_alert and you will get a text message about shows running late.

Works pretty well.
Sunday I got a text warning at 5:27 saying that shows may be delayed then at 7:51 got another text listing the show start times. Still wish they would pad the shows but this is better than nothing.

there isn't any team that I hate; which makes this season very boring...I even liked the blondes...

elimination station is where the action is...another great 6 minutes there PLUS, there are bikinis this time :D

sad when elimination station and Phil's diary are the best part...

I went to the Eye-lerts thing, but I"m pretty sure A) I don't have a CBS.com ID or B) I don't want to go through the process of signing up for it. I'll just return the padding.

Oddly enough, I happened to stumble on this one going over by accident. I hadn't thought of the NCAA games (didn't know what time of day they were scheduled on CBS), but my TiVo dutifully changed the channel to our CBS affiliate when I was watching something else live at 7.

Seeing Barack Obama instead of Phil sent me in to set up a recording for "Cold Case", and all was well.

Just padded back to an hour extra on the TiVo, and threw in the manual 10-11 PM CBS recording just for backup.

FWIW, CBS.com has the full episodes from 3/15 and 3/22 available to stream.

Could it be that they post the full episode whenever it gets delayed for us DVR people?

EDIT: Nah, they're all there.
