broke my remote [Text View]

stepped on it and now half the buttons don't work - no red light - but buttons on lower half do work.

Any options other than to buy a new one?

there is a business in NC that repairs remotes. I sent them a remote for my Panasonic Showstopper replay dvr and they did a great job. But with shipping and service cost it's probably just better to get you a new one through directv or ebay. here is the link to that service to check with them.

Purchased a new one from 1-800-Remotes - got here over the weekend. Works fine.

For the DTiVo? Woot was selling them for like 99 cents.

You'll find those an eBay for $5 + shipping.
