Getting frustrated with a new installation. I hope someone here has some ideas for me.
Just got new Series3 HD and a HDXL and loaded up DT+ 2.7 .
My PC ( XP SP3) never sees the DVR . I get the eternal flashlight on Desktop services. The Tivos display a 43-100 error when trying to view photos or music on my PC. Haven't tried any video transfers yet.
So far I have tried the following with no success -
- The DVRs see each other and pass all the network diagnostics and port tests.
- I can download from Amazon and You Tube.
- When manualing added the server, the Tivo displays my PC name so they can reach it.
- I can browse to both Tivo units and get the "congratulations" screen.
- I only added 1 .jpg and 1 .mp3 file to share
- Made sure the Tivo server is running
- They are all on the same subnet
- Reloaded Bonjour, made sure the srevices is running.
- Removed McAfee and made sure windows firewall is off.
- removed and reinstalled DT numerous times
- restarted both Tivos, numerous times
- checked this forum but all the 43-100 threads seemed dated
- Called Tivo customer service, no help
I am out of ideas, can anyone help ?
