Terk Multiswitch - Is it working??

I have two Tivos and neither one is getting signal from my satellite dish. I have a Terk mulitswitch and if memory serves me, the switch used to be warm and now it is not. How would I know if my multiswitch has gone south? A search here on the forum hasn't revealed anyone who has had to replace their switch. I know I can direct feed from the satellite but, I was hoping for a simpler solution.

The Terk I used to have was powered.

Power got to it via coax.

Did you unplug the power inserter by accident recently?
Or did it get bumped loose?
