Tivo Desktop Error# 3-5-108

Error message appears when I try to access files on my PC. This message appears onscreen on TiVo: "An unexpected error occurred while accessing the server". TiVo recognizes the PC with the files I'm trying to access but this is as far as I get.
Tivo support cannot identify the error code so I don't know what the problem is and therefore don't know what problem to solve! They sent me to Digital River (Desktop software maker aka: Roxio!) but the phone number there is not working and is a $2 a minute tech support anyway!!!!

What kind of files? From now playing (video) or from Music, Photos (audio or photo)?
There is a similar error (3-5-6) message that sometimes appears when browsing music, it means a connection was closed unexpectedly by the server. I don't know the meaning of 3-5-108 though. It might be a video equivalent, posting the full text of the error message would be helpful in addition to knowing where it occurs.
