Holy, smokes, it's Alex Cabot! Welcome back, Stephanie March!

There sure were a lot of lingering close-ups of her face. In HD one of the close-ups, it looked like she had a bad rash or something around her neck and chest.

Certainly nice to see her back. Does that mean the old ADA's gone? (in real life, I mean---I know that they gave some explanation for the character's absence)

I wish, because Alex Cabot is still the best ADA on SVU, but Stephanie March is only signed for a six episode run.

She's signed for six episodes? Excellent. She is still my favorite SVU ADA.

Stephanie March is only signed for a six episode run.I had heard something like that, but I was asking about the character who's been the ADA for this season. Is she gone? What happens after March's six-episode run?

I don't see anywhere Michaela McManus (Grayleck) is leaving the show (that would have made the news) and the only interview with March I can find suggests that Grayleck might return before the six episodes are up, but I can't find any information about why McManus is not on the show.

Now if they can just get rid of that monkey face detective on Criminal Intent and bring back Falacci.

According to this article (http://www.bostonherald.com/entertainment/television/general/view.bg?articleid=1157413) there will be two ADA's for now. Maybe they'll switch back and forth like D'Onofrio and Noth (now Goldblum) did on CI.
Many have wondered if Alexandra’s reappearance means that viewers will be seeing less of the show’s current ADA, played by Michaela McManus. March said no, that the show will exist with two ADAs.
“We haven’t acted a bunch together. I think they are kind of saving that for later. Michaela certainly doesn’t need my advice. She’s terrific. She’s a lovely human being.”

+1. She probably got tired of sitting at home listening to her blowhard husband.

Now if we could just get Jill Hennessey to share some ADA duties with Alana de la Garza, I'd be a happy man.

Uhhh, I believe they killed off Claire Kincaid. So that would be a real stretch.

Nah, that was just a cover to send her into Witsec. I'm sure Mary Shannon knows where she is. ;)

No, I meant Jill -- but Angie would be an acceptable substitute.
But NOT Carey Lowell or (gulp) Elizabeth Rohm, please!

I'd be happy with Carey. The Rohmbot might be acceptable if, and only if, she is fighting vampires.

I like how on her first case they showed her as rusty. Put a crimp in the welcome back party.

In most shows that's not an issue ;)

Jill Hennessy has a twin sister. Maybe Claire Kincaid does too. :)
