Hacking area requires me to have ten posts before I can look at sigs or links. :( I guess that's what this area is for

So they want you to post crap on other forums? Wasting both my time and other users?

All I want to do is look at the Python Program that acts like a Tivo Remote control. And this posting doesn't count. :-(

You could of course just contribute to the forum and be a community member rather than an ass that wants something for nothing and doesn't post again.

wow, that is uncalled for.

He just wanted to get a program that was in someones sig, and for some random reason, you need 10 posts to LOOK at sigs (apparently) but 0 to post links?!??!

He does make a good point, he HAS to make 10 posts JUST to look at a sig, weird

Thanks MikeMar. I'm not sure what I did to deserve that vitriol.

I think that one of the best things a newbie can do is to keep quiet. As someone new to this forum, I want to learn from other's postings. I want my questions to be good ones!

I do hope to contribute. But at my own speed and when I have something interesting to add. Not contributing because I had to reach a quota.
