Hello,

I am interested in using TiVo Desktop to transfer shows from TiVo to my Desktop, however I was wondering whether the show remains available on TiVo after the transfer. If not, is it possible to transfer it back at some point?

Yes. It remains. If you should manually erase the TiVo, yes, you can pull it from PC. I use a large hard drive on my Mac to make sure I don't fill up the TiVo. Works well, mostly.
