Video Setting Resets

I have my Tivo HD connected to my 42" HD set via HDMI. Every so often the Tivo resets from a Native video setting to 1080i causing SD shows to stretch. It seems to happen after Tivo updates requiring a reboot.

Is there any way to lock the setting so it doesn't change it?

Is the TiVo directly connected to the TV, or does it pass thru an AV Receiver? What model TV?

The Tivo is connected to my Onkyo AV receiver. It's a Magnavox TV.

I get the same thing with the same brand receiver, but since it only happens after updates, which are at most once every couple of months, I usually ignore it and reset to native by hand.

Not a fix, but wanted to let you know others experience it.

That's what I've been doing too. It would be nice if it didn't happen at all though.
