It was only a matter of time for Seth. Any number of them could have received the boot tonight. I don't even remember what Robert was doing. I did like his impression of GR. And his comment about 250 pounds of dead weight being added to the team.

I am all for reality tv and I love Ramsey, but this season is not holding my interest - I don't care about any of the contestants (even the ones you love to hate: Lacey) and I am tempted to delete my SP. :(

Don't forget Roberts shout out for Lacy to stay out of a bikini. lol.

Yum, snot / sweat rag cleaning pans. Uggh. That with the Chef's putting their fingers or spoons into tasting food makes me glad I don't eat out often.

yea i dont get all the fingering and utensil play..i guess the heat kills any germs then?

The dirty rag in the pans was pretty gross. And the comment from a 400lb person with a 250lb girl was just soooo effective..not. and i thought he was leaning as a double eviction not just one...shame on him for teasing us

I think he's done that before. Declare both teams losers, have them both put people up for elimination and then just pick one.

This bothered me in Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (or whatever it was called here in the states.) Ramsey was always tasting something and putting the spoon right back in the food...that was almost as bad as some of the dirty stuff I saw on that show.

i thought when that one girl said it was her worst performance yet he would just pick her. Surprising he didnt.

That's what I thought too.

Casting for a number of shows has been bad this year.

This show has been one of the worst. How many bad people can you cast? There are so many bad cooks, he cant even comment on them all. Worst of all was the best chef left week 2.

When Ramsay was yelling at all of them toward the end of service, I was thinking, "...and one of them is going to run your restaurant at the Borgata!?"

There's no way that any of these people would ever be trusted with running one of Ramsey's restaurants. The "job" offered is purely ceremonial. With a couple of exceptions in the past, Hell's Kitchen contestants aren't qualified to run a local diner or pizzeria, much less a real restaurant. They're cast primarily on the ability to act amusing while being called a donkey.

Agreed.

And to top it off, these people are making the same damn recipe (pea risotto or whatever) time after time after time, and are following a precise recipe.

If you did it right, do you need to taste it every time? You know what you put in, you followed the recipe perfectly. I don't taste my PB & J while I'm making it. :)

I kinda know they do, but please use a clean utensil.

The only thing that I can think of is that Ramsay will berate them if they don't taste something that goes into the dining room.

I always try to see if they reuse utensils after tasting something but I never can definitively tell. Is this really that common of a practice in restaurants?
