I love seeing people cry when you crush their dreams :D

Sorry to see Jerry go...Coach is getting to be too much...I don't want to see him voted off, I want to see him get killed...

Definitely sad to see Jerry go - that guy had the potential to go far. Brought down by beans...

I really like the subplot that Taj and Brendan have going on at Exile Island.

And Coach has to go. Soon.

I like how Sienna said that when she was sick they kept her around and let her get better, "but I'm not going to be THAT stupid!"

which makes her smarter than some of the people in her tribe. i think she's doing a great job so far.

I like Taj and Brendan's idea, but I don't see how it can work. Most likely the merge will happen at 10 people or so, and then they'll have an alliance of 4. I guess whoever is in the winning tribe will need to convince their people not to vote out the two from the other tribe until they are down to the final 7. It seems far-fetched at this point for anyone to turn on their own tribe that they have been with the entire game and go with the 2 people that they talked to on Exile Island once the first week. It could help out in an early switch perhaps.

Coach has to go. Soon.

I was wincing when he was going on and on at Tribal about "Looking in everyone's eyes" and therefore becoming the leader. Just DUMB.

He was not only looking in their eyes, he was telling them with his eyes what they should each grab off the truck. As Bugs would say, "What a maroon"!

That would make him the second survivor to be taken down by beans, right? Didn't Clarence get the boot due to some beans back in the original Africa season?

To me it could be game changing if all four are in on it. Brendan can let Taj know about the idol. Then everyone else can just spin thier wheels looking for it.

Then, at time for merge, you have 2 idols that can be used as super power. They merge at 10, show an idol to sway someone. Or... They could use it to take out someone early in the merge by becoming 'targets'. I like both of these guys and I would like to see this idea go far.

Coach had to be recruited for this show, because any fan would know you NEVER argue for the leadership position. You let it fall upon you.

Brendan (he who did not figure out where the tribal land was) should actually do is not tell Taj where the idol is...then hope to survive until a merge or a shuffle, get to the other beach, and get the second idol to himself...

Well, Tyson thinks so.

Coach is a huge tool, and the only one that doesn't seem to know it is Coach. I loved how "Well, its a role Coach likes, and is used to, but Brendan's just better at it..." That got him livid! I want to see that ego crushed, and crushed badly. He needs to stick around long enough so, that when he's watching at home, he sees all the private interviews of people explaining what a dooshbag he is, an dhow his ego will never let him see the blindside coming at him like a freight train.

Tyson is my favorite player. He's hilarious.

And I don't want Coach voted out anytime soon. Players like him are what make the game fun. As long as Tyson and the rest of that tribe can string him along and let him think he's in power, he could provide some really classic Survivor moments.

Bummer about Jerry. I would have liked to see him go far.

I'm thinking Tyson is a tool. Not nearly a d*che like Coach, but a tool. He's way to high on himself, needs to be the center of attention.

Except we haven't seen that at all. Around camp and around the other players on the tribe, he hasn't exhibited anything that would make us think he's an attention hog. It's only during his one-on-one interviews that his personality has come out, and I think it's hilarious.

Could anyone tell what Coach's tribal council vote said? I know one of the words was Jerry, but there were three other things on there, and without HD, it was tough to make out.

I forgot to mention that I loved how hypocritical Coach was. As soon as they showed him telling the tribe not to break up into little groups and talk about whether certain people were at fault for their loss, I knew immediately that's what he was going to do. And sure enough, they cut right to Coach and Tyson off by themselves, with Coach going on and on about Erinn.

Tyson's a douch too but a smart one, he knows showing that side of him at camp this early in the game is fatal. He'll ride Coach until it makes sense to dump him, I wouldn't be suprised if Tyson led the charge because Tyson know there can only be one Coach! :)

i agree... talking about co-coach, being promoted... the whole riff was hilarious

i agree here too... that guy is funny. he's an a$$hat, but he's funny... he's what makes survivor nonboring. if every survivor had contestants that were all sensible and reasonable and loveable, it wouldn't have lasted 2 years.

This is especially important since if there is a shuffle and he is forced to switch beaches then he loses the idol he has hidden on his beach.

The biggest problem I have with coach is his persona and aura. For someone who is a coach who is supposed to be a positive motivator of people, his demeanor and presence fails to support being that type of coach. I look at him and he just seems to have a negative aura about him even if he doesn't speak. He needs to find a different career or have a life change of attitude and ego. Classic case of denial of self will run a muck.

What is interesting and whether they would admit it or not, coach and Candace had a moment, and those two if they let their egos go would match and mate well. Those kind who think they shouldn't be with each other are exactly the types that should be together.

Anyone still think Sandy is an idiot? Interesting not much said about that claim since it was first made and of course I bring it up since I was one who called BS on it. :D

I still think she's an idiot. I just don't think they've given her any more air time than just being around other people they are focusing on. Her idiocy hasn't been featured front & center, but I have no reason to believe it just disappeared. ;)

This. She didn't suddenly gain any intelligence. She has simply blended into the tribe as she hasn't really had any reason to be featured like she was on the first episode.

Uh no Candace has said in interviews that he was an ass from the jump. Coach copping a feel the first night in might have something to do with it tho..

There are many women who I felt the same about, past tense, and things changed. She didn't like in him what she couldn't see in herself.

I watched that scene several times with Sandy looking for the II and it was so obviously edited to make her look worse. Even Jeff's questions about her were leading. Think about it. Not exact words but, "Sandy, are you a little bit crazy"? She played it up even more when he said it. She maybe a little off kilter, average intelligence and not the norm, but she isn't crazy or stupid, although the show tried to portray her as such. Less camera on her might simply mean she isn't playing the part they hoped she would.

my wife just watched the show and said to me: "did he really say that he looked everyone in the eye and just like that, they got their instructions from him on what to pick up and what to do?"

I sure wouldn't want to be stuck in a tribe with Coach, but from my couch he is Survivor gold! He is a complete jerk, but he is genuine!

My least favorite contestant ever was Johnny Fairplay, I hated that guy, and I think the reason I hated Fairplay and I love Coach, is that Fairplay was so contrived in his efforts to be a heel. Coach doesn't have to try, he just is (a dou*he, that is). :)

Tyson is by far my favorite non-hottie on the cast. He's hysterical.

Coach is such a tool that he needs to stick around as long as possible, just to hear him make idiotic statements like what he said at TC.

And bummer about Jerry. I liked that guy. It would have been fun to see him go all the way. :(

I see Coach and keep thinking smack him in the back of the head to shut him up for a few days.

Have the last few seasons been pretty much one team dominating up until the merge? It seems that way to me, starting with the fan vs celebrity, but the seasons start to run together.

Don't like Coach, but got a kick out of his attempt to imitate Erin's "evil" look. I thought he might end up alienating himself to the point of getting voted out when he was ordering the girls to vote for Erin and said something like "it may be okay for you guys, but I'm too true to be able to hang with a person like her."

It's obvious Steven Seagal learned his coolness from Coach.

I really like the subplot that Taj and Brendan have going on at Exile Island.
.

i havent kept track but dont people who repeatedly go to the island generally do well?

He was not only looking in their eyes, he was telling them with his eyes what they should each grab off the truck.

with that kind of power, he is assured victory at everything he does. Just wonder why he hasnt won powerball yet? His attitude is bad, jeff alluded to it on the Tv guide show and he was very right
