I've recently been frustrated by Season Passes recording 3 or 4 minute "preview" recordings of various shows, such as Damages. In addition, when I put in a new Season Pass, often a program will start recording in the middle of the program. Both of these problems could be "fixed" by adding a new option to Season Passes as well as Wishlists for minimum recording time. By providing a default of, say, 22 minutes, for minimum recording time, a program which allows clipping of up to four minutes on each end would be recorded, but anything shorter would not record. The minimum length would be adjustable by the user and would apply to Wishlists as well as Season Passes.
