In the episode titled “Not All Dogs Go to Heaven,” the "Next Gen" crew (Patrick Stewart, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Denise Crosby, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes) will provide guest voices as the Griffin family heads to the annual Quahog “Trek” convention.

Now which cast member would that have been who let it slip? Had to have been Wil, the fanboy such as he is. :)

I think when we eliminate all of the cast members who aren't bloggers, we have a suspect pool of exactly one.

Could it have been this (http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2007/09/giggity.html)?

Also, the way I read it, Wil read his lines alone. While that's usually the way it's done with the non-regulars, would it surprise anyone if it turns out that the rest of the TNG cast recorded together?
(Then again, Stewart probably did his lines at the same time as one of his American Dad sessions.)

Well, you aren't counting Twitter. Levar Burton, Wil Wheaton, & Brent Spiner are there at each other constantly. Levar talks about having a Lewar all the time, Brent's just weird.

Where's Colm Meaney?

He was on DS9 a hell of a lot more than ST:TNG.

Michael Ian Black started the "LeWar" deal.

Michael Ian Black started the "LeWar" deal.

That's true, but I think Levar brought the others on for the ride. The point is that they're all on Twitter, so any could be considered the culprit hehe.

Almost all VO work is recorded solo. That's not out of the ordinary. I'd be surprised if any of the cast recorded together.

I'd say it was Wil originally with LeVar following after him. I've never seen LeVar or Brent mention ST on twitter. Though I'm fairly sure I saw a twitter from LeVar about his appearance on Family Guy.

As someone else mentioned, this will be an episode to watch if you don't already watch the show. Wil seems to be a fairly good sport about making fun of Wesley. His commentaries about some of his earlier episodes are very funny and very biting, mostly at his expense.

This sounds like a TNG take of that Futurama episode "Where No Fan has Gone Before" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_no_fan_has_gone_before)

On The Simpsons, either the previous week or the same night - there's a new episode where "The Simpsons are going to Ireland!" with Meaney in it; it's supposed to air first in Ireland and the UK on St. Patrick's Day, and in the USA "the following week", which I interpret as the 22nd, although it could be the 29th.

That's kind of my impression as well.
Frakes was in the Futurama episode as well.

If you mean the ST:TNG cast, or pretty much any animated movie's cast, I agree, but usually an animated TV show's "stars" will record together. There is a scene of a "group recording" on the Futurama: Bender's Game DVD.

(Keep in mind that when I say "stars", in this case I mean just the six main characters, which is actually just four actors. I'm pretty sure Patrick Warburton (Joe) and Lori Alan (Diane Simmons), for example, record their lines alone.)

Hmmm, interesting. I took a look at that this morning. I'd have to say that's out of the ordinary. As you can see from the people stifling laughs, you don't want a group of people recording like that. Someone could mess up a good take because they're making noise in the background.
