Need help getting movie off of TIVO box

I have a Hughes Direct TV DVR model SD-DVR80. I took it out of service because I'm trying Dish Network for a while. My question: Is there a way to get a movie off of the tevo unit onto my computer hard drive?

Yes, play it through a video capture device. If you have a DVD recorder you could use that.

While you could extract through the network, you need to have had the TiVo hacked beforehand to disable encryption, not to mention it is a forbidden topic here.
