OK, I searched around and found a few threads with similar issues, but nothing quite like this. Hopefully someone can help.
I just bought a 4th TiVo which is an HD XL (the other 3 are Series 2) and got it all hooked up, started recording shows and transferring shows to it from the Series 2s.
I can't get the Now Playing List to alphabetize properly. I've changed sort order back and forth between date recorded and alphabetical, turned groups off and on, forced connections and rebooted several times.
Here's how the list is coming up (with groups sorted by name):
24 - 2/23 - recorded on this TiVo
American Experience - 2/14 - transferred from Pioneer Series 2
Dollhouse - 2/20 - transferred from Pioneer Series 2
Flight of the Conchords - 2/22 - transferred from Pioneer Series 2
I Survived - 2/17 - transferred from Pioneer Series 2
Independent Lens (2) (folder) - 2/10 - transferred from Pioneer Series 2
Jack Horkheimer - 2/24 - Web Video from TiVo Desktop
Les Concerts a emporter 2/24 - Web Video from TiVo Desktop
New York Times - 2/23 - Web Video from TiVo Desktop
Right America:Feeling Wronged - 2/23 -transferred from Pioneer Series 2

Notice that Flight of the Conchords and I Survived appear twice on the list and aren't going into group folders!
It seems to sort properly when I choose date order, though.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? I'm so used to TiVo working perfectly, this has thrown me for a loop! :confused:
