As everyone here knows, there are lights on the front of the Tivo HD that show you what format the current display is. My problem is this: my tivo simply does not have a light for 1080i; its not even there. I can see all the other formats (480i, 480p, 720p) but no 1080i. I set it the format to native and I know for a fact that I am receiving my signal in 1080i. Did I get a weird tivo? What is going on? Thanks.

If you set your TiVo to fixed 1080i, you don't any light?

It's possible that its broken for some reason. Personally I turn off the format lights in the options and leave the others lights on.

So you press the format button on the front and all other number light up but not 1080? Bad LED?

I think that makes you eligible for a tax credit under the energy provisions of the stimulus package.
