Hi:
Is anyone still watching? If so, how do you think they will get out of this one, now that Christian supposedly only has 6 months - 1 year to live.

Does anyone know if the series is going off the air?

I read somewhere (probably here) that they're only doing one more season. So Christian's timeline will probably coincide with the series finale.

I hadn't heard a definitive timeline for the end of the series, but agree that the timelines will probably match up (either ending just before or just or with after Christian's death).

A very depressing episode -- and the previous one, with the Yoga instructor/Bradley Cooper trying to be like a dog (...because he can... :-) ) I thought was a vintage Nip/Tuck ep -- irreverant and very funny...

Are we still believing in Sean's vision of the future? If so, Christian can't die.

Sean has already described the events of the vision episode as being a dream, getting the writers out of that hole they dug.

Although I still watch Nip/Tuck regularly, it is time for the series to wind down. It's turned itself into a soft porn show with not a lot of plot. Really, Liz leaves (temporarily) and her replacement ends up in bed before the episode is done. Christian's replacement has some strange disease that forces him to ... I'll leave this out in case somebody hasn't seen it yet.

As some would say, "it's jumped the shark".

What are you guys talking about? Have I missed an episode?

I believe this thread is talking about two separate episodes. Last week, Christian found out he had 6 months to live and asked Liz to marry him. This week Christian was looking for his replacement and they had a client whose husband was dying and looking for his replacement for his wife.

Whoa, they need a new thread then!

geez the treeman (real story too) was freakishly disturbing. Was he a freebie or did he have money? i wasnt clear on that.

And enticing liz like that was nuts. I think she should have gone back to miami and stayed! how could she decide to marry him after all the deception? Maybe she wants to wait until he's on his deathbed and say sucker, i got your millions. I'm sure he thinks she even deserves some.

Good things sean smokes or that would have gone to waste :)

The baby storyline is annoying. though i guess it could lead to things like a protracted legal battle, picketing and all sorts of news stories. Plus what does matt have to say about it?

I think the tree guy was a freebie, they were doing it for the press conference and notoriety they would get from it (at least thats how I remember it).

I liked the baby storyline for the line "thin villainous lips" :P
