POOR transfer performance... [Text View]

I just got some sort of upgrade this morning becuase it too about 45 minutes to apply and now it is taking 18.5 hours to transfer a 30 minute episode from Tivo to my PC using Desktop 2.6.2. Any suggestions on trouble shooting?

After some software updates, the TiVo must reindex its guide data in the background. This indexing slows responsiveness (and any other activities, such as transfers) for about 48 hours.

After 48 hours, your TiVo should be back to normal.

Been a little more than 48 hours and still SLOW as hell. Is there any way to roll back a Tivo supplied upgrade?

You could try the TiVo desktop 2.7 and run the latest version of bonjour for windows. Has been working alot better for me.
