When watching a "now playing" show and it reaches the end of the recording a message pops up asking if you want to delete that program now. What's the best way to reach this ending screen whenever you want?

Say there's 10 minutes left in a show and you're bored with it. How can you jump to the end of the program quickly so that screen pops up?

Fast forward + 30sec skip jumps you to the last tick mark which SHOULD be the end of the program but it really leaves about 30-60sec left of show that you have to sit through before the ending screen pops up. Even if you try to fast forward straight to the end of the show it still makes you watch a tiny bit of the show first before the screen pops up. I've accidentally hit some buttons on the tivo remote that made the screen pop up but I haven't been able to replicate it.

Are there any buttons that basically force the program to end? I don't like clicking the tivo button-->now playing-->navigating to my show-->selecting "delete now" or using the FF method and then waiting for the last 30 seconds to end.

Left Arrow.

If you're within the last five minutes you get the delete option.

If not, you'll go back to the Program Info Screen which will have the delete option.

Make sure you are not fast forwarding or fast-reversing, and then press the button that is a right arrow pointing to a vertical line; this will take you to the end of the program. (If you are fast-forwarding or fast-reversing, it will take you to the next "tick mark".)

Once you have done this, press the TiVo button; this should bring up the "Delete Now / Keep This Recording" screen. You don't have to be all the way at the end of the program for the screen to appear.

Thank you guys -- both of these methods work and it is exactly what I was looking for!
