I can't play stuff from Tivo Desktop

I have copied several things over From my Tivo HD to a PC running Tivo Desktop (2.5.1), but the Tivo doesn't see them. I can pick the machine from "Music Photos and Showcases", but when I go to Now Playing list, it says "The Client has no recordings"

There must be something simple and obvious that I'm missing, but I don't know what that is. Any ideas?

Did you do the certificate update to 2.5.1? If not, that is the problem. Either upgrade to 2.7 or download and run the certificate updater.

I had the same thing happen, after installing an Expander. I had to reassign the "export directories", for want of a better word. Under File, reassign the directories for Music, Photos, and Video. That cured it for me.
