Any new games coming out soon?

Just curious since I am a new tivo person if any new sites/games were being heard of. I tried apps.tv and noticed that they have not been updated since late 08 which leads me to believe maybe those will be all. I really wanted to try the interactive game from them but it seemed my screen would stay on please wait for too long and never go anywhere...after days and I mean DAYS of googling, I have yet to be able to find any site I can manually add servers or anything. So anyone got any ideas?

The only game maker I can think of closed up shop due to lack of money and not enough community interest. You can search here for the thread, it was a few months ago. The TiVo just isn't the best platform for gaming, and developers don't seem to be interested. Especially with the iPhone making everyone so much money these days.

I'd like to see a Stratego or Chess game. I think either of those would be easy enough to use the TiVo remote for, although I'm sure the algorithm for the computer is the hard part.

It would be cool if you could port games like Oregon Trail or Swashbuckler over, although I'm not sure if any of these are feasible or hell even legal, as they maybe copyrighted or something.

I have lots of ideas for cool things, but not the knowledge to build them myself. I can make a killer “Hello World” app though if anyone is interested. ;)
