No live TV thru TiVo

Hi

I have a UK TiVo with cache card/512mb connected to Virgin media cable box. I am no longer able to watch or record live TV, yet TiVo menus and old recorded programs play back fine through the TV, any thoughts?

*When plugging cable box direct to TV (using scart from TiVo) I get a picture/sound fine.
*Have swapped over scart leads, and replaced with new (spare) one.
*Have reset the TiVo couple of times through the software and once through hard power off.

My thought is the input scart on the TiVo may have died? and just when suggestions started working again :mad:

Half tempted to call it a day and get a Samsung V+, but deep down I know Id missed the TiVo.

Unplug the TiVo from the Mains but leave the STB switched on . Power on the Tivo.

Sometimes the TiVo needs to be able to "see" the STB during the startup phase (after a power off) before it will recognise there's a signal.
