RECOMMENDATIONS . . .

1. Add an LED clock to the front of the TiVo box.

2. 'Stop' buton (or capability) on remote. When pressed while watching a previously recorded program two options would appear: 'Save' or 'Delete' recording and Return (to recording). (Thus saving multiple clicks by allowing me to quickly delete a recording I don't like.)

3. Make the remote more multi-function. It would be nice to be able to turn off my TV and sterio receiver with one click of the 'TV Power' button. (I can control the volume and mute, but I can't use the remote to turn off the audio receiver.)

4. Add prgrammable buttons to the remote. This would allow a sequence of button clicks to be achieved with a single click. For example: program a button to launch Rhapsody.

THAT IS ALL

The Series III has one. I suspect most users would prefer a cheaper unit.

Why not just use a switched outlet on your A/V receiver? Also, I may be mistaken, but I think there may alreeady be a way to do what you are requesting. I could be mis-remmebering, however, and I don't require the feature.

You can get a universal remote that does such things. Again, I think more people would prefer a simpler and less expensive remote.
