Can I download movies from TiVo to a USB Flashdrive on my Laptop?

Yes. Just make sure that if the file size is above 4 GB that you convert the file system on the flash drive to NTFS before hand, most come formatted to FAT32 which has a 4 GB file size limitation.

Also be aware that you will need Tivo To Go installed on any machine with your media access key to view it unless you use a conversion utility to convert it to a standard MPEG or other file type so it can be viewed without TTG.

I have 2 hard drives in my PC and i have TivoDesktop installed on C: but the destination folder set to the slave drive E:.

Can the destination folder be set to the flashdrive?
or would OP need to transfer show to laptop then copy file to flashdrive?

Not on the TiVos USB port.

You need to transfer over the network, which you can copy to the USB drive.
