Hi all,

I'm new to tivo and recently purchased a Tivo 3 Hd, and wireless adapter. I've been trying to get the Tivo to connect to my home network.
i have Linksys router WRT300N; PC w/ Vista and a on board NIC.
I've setup the Tivo via wireless and it downloads the guide, and connect to Tivo service without any problems, but when i try to have the PC and TIVO tal they don't see each other/
I'm also using TIVO desktop 2.6.2 and it cannot find the TIVO address either. it says there is not TIVO DRV on network. Any help would be appreciated.

The software version that first came with the Series 3 and TiVoHD models didn't allow TivoToGo and Multi Room Viewing, but did allow you to download updates over broadband. This is probably why your TiVo can download guide data but not see (or be seen from) a PC. Brand new versions of these models are still being shipped with the original software, which I believe is version 7.x for the TiVoHD.

Either give it a few days to update the software on its own, or else you can try to force updates by going to Messages & Settings/Settings/Phone & Network/Connect to the TiVo Service Now.

The current software version is 11.0 and can be found at Messages & Settings/Settings/Account & System Information.
