Hi,

I just purchased my first Tivo, Tivo HD. I will use OTA.

My Questions to you are:

I am in Canada, If you subscribe with a Canadian address and Canadian Credit Card, are the Tivo Fees charged in Canadian Dollars ?

If I give an US address, will I get more options because of that ? ( i.e. You tube, Netflix ).

I am looking at a Lifetime Sub but can I just try it for one moth at $ 12.95 then purchase the $ 400 Lifetime sub?

You can use a Candian address and Credit card. The charge on your card will be in $CDN. TiVo bills only in $USD.

Some features depend on being set up for a US address to show up. Some depend on you having a US IP address to work.

I believe you can start a monthly commitment, and with in the first 30 days convert to Product Lifetime.
