As a previous customer, I just got an email from Ultratec (http://www.ultratecdirect.com) to let me know they have just reduced the price on their remaining Samsung HA250JC hard drives.

They have two left (http://www.ultratecdirect.com/stocklists/searchresults.jsp?textSearch=HA250JC) at £49.99 plus VAT if anyone's interested.

If I had a second TiVo that needed upgrading I'd have snapped them up myself.

Why did you buy them in preference to a single 1GB WD SATA Green Power drive? Were they IDE rather than SATA drives?
